Young Talents. Today - Kayleigh Ivanov

One of our best up-and-coming young archers Kayleigh Ivanov has had some amazing feats recently! We’re very proud to say that Kayleigh has recently won a few Competitions, including the Scottish Eastern Area Championship in Bathgate and the Scottish Under-18 Championship in Glasgow. Her incredible performances are a spectacle and proof of ambition. She has been selected to represent the Scottish Junior & Senior Team for the British Nationals.

Only two years ago did she take up the sport and, already, she’s ranked as the number one Under-18’s girl in Scotland! Her talent and ambition are inspiring and of course, we’re expecting more great news from her in the future.

PS The picture is a crop from the local newspaper that published a story about Kayleigh and her achievements 🙂

Later edit:

At the British Nationals, the Scottish Junior Team (which Kayleigh was part of) took first place beating England by one point.

The Scottish Senior Team (which Kayleigh was also part of) were beaten into second place by England.

As an individual, Kayleigh came sixth in the U18 Girls out of around thirty of her class which was still quite an achievement. She also competed with the Senior Ladies on the second day where she came in the top 20%.

Now for a fairly newcomer to the sport these are exceptionally good results which she received much acclaim at the event!
