If you are an archer and you wish your hobby to become your new career, come and join us at The Archery Shop. We have a Customer Service position available, working alongside our enthusiastic and knowledgeable team of archers.
Overview:
This is a full time position, with an initial 3 month probationary period, where you will be working 5 days per week, one day to include a Saturday.
Typical Shop opening hours: 09:45 – 18:15.
Successful completion of the probationary period will lead to a full time position.
Responsibilities:
- Manage calls and emails from & to customers in a professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service through taking orders (on-line and in shop), giving advice & technical support where needed
- Communicate with customers and provide accurate, timely information; provide follow-up if needed
- Manage returns, solve problems and grievances, resulting in a satisfied customer
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge about products in our inventory
- Other duties and special projects will be assigned by management.
Essential Skills:
- A friendly, warm and natural manner over the telephone or in writing; the ability to build rapport with customers
- Ability to multi-task whilst on the telephone
- Detail oriented
- Willingness and ability to learn a complex and unique product line
- Efficient and accurate computer skills
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to uphold the company values and maintain a high standard of customer service.
- Able to work weekend and/or evening hours
Desired Experience:
- Previous customer service experience.
- An experienced archer would have an advantage
